SpeedBalance... With its payload of 26.4 lbs, the DV8 SB Fluid Head offers high-precision and extremely fast counterbalance to all digital camcorder operators. The head is called SpeedBalance, because it features 10 step counterbalance, greatly reducing set-up time.
In addition to finer counterbalance graduation, SpeedBalance heads also have an increased payload range, including a reduction in minimum payload. This makes them ideal for lightweight camcorders such as those from the DVCAM, HDV and DV classes.
The Fluid head DV 8 SB features 75 mm tripod fittings and is thus perfect for news gathering. Another feature of the new fluid heads is their self-illuminated Touch Bubbles that make balancing in poor light conditions even easier.
The Speed Lock 75CF Dural carbon fiber tripod which is constructed with a 16mm (0.63") tube diameter is fitted with the Sachtler rotary clamping system, and has a Maximum height of 57.9-inch (not including head).
